MattRad BBQ Cheque Presentation 2017
On June 14, Valour Place hosted a BBQ in honour of the 2017 MattRad Fundraiser. Delicious food, such as burgers, corn on the cob, and potato salad, was prepared by the wonderful MattRad Crew!
As everyone enjoyed their dinners, Eileen Radawetz (Matthew’s mom) delivered a heartfelt speech that warmed the dining halls of Valour Place; the proceeds from the MattRad Fundraiser was then revealed live on Facebook.
The group has been fundraising for Valour Place since Matthew's passing. It started with bottle drives and has morphed into dinners and silent auctions.
This year they raised a total of $10,410 in support for Valour Place! We cannot thank them enough for their continuous support. Check out some of the highlights to the right!
