​Walk For Valour is the sole major fundraiser for Valour Place — a home away from home for military,

veterans, first responders, and their families during medical treatment. Every step you take

directly helps Canadian heroes by keeping their families close during difficult medical journeys.

📅 Date: Sunday, September 13, 2026

Registration opens at 9 am, and Walk starts at 10 am
📍 Location: Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park, Edmonton — or walk/run in your own community
🏃‍♀️ Distance: 2.5 km walk or run
🎉 Finish Line Fun: Canadian-themed activity stations and prize draws

Why Walk/Run?

Valour Place provides no-cost accommodation to military, veterans, and first responder families when they need

to travel to Edmonton for medical care. In 2025, we provided 3,037 nights of stay for families across Alberta

and beyond.

Your participation ensures we can continue to offer comfort, support, and hope—at no cost to families in need.
